| Introduction
The Kitáb-i-Iqán (Book of Certitude) was revealed within the space of two days and two nights, in the last years of Bahá'u'lláh’s stay in Baghdad (1278 A.H.-1862 A.D.). It was written in reply to the questions addressed to Bahá'u'lláh by the Material uncle of the Báb, Haji Mirza Siyyid Muhammad. According to Shoghi Effendi in God Passes By, this Book set “forth in outline the Grand Redemptive Scheme of God” and it “occupies a position unparalleled by any work in the entire range of the Bahá’í literature, except the Kitáb-i-Aqdas, Bahá'u'lláh’s Most Holy Book” Yerrinbool Bahá’í Centre of Learning is offering a systematic study of the book as a distance education program with well developed study guides and supplementary readings. Objectives of the Course
The course is designed for two year of study. The students are expected to spend at least three hours a week on the course in order to satisfy all the requirements. The course is delivered as a distance education program. The Centre provides a full study plan and a mentor for each student. The mentors will be in contact with the students and assist them in their work. The students are expected to complete the assignments given in the distance learning material and return them by a due date. The assignments are read and assessed by the mentors and returned to students. The study guide has been developed by Dr Katty Hassall. Dr Hassall is one of the faculty members of the Three Year Certificate Program and has been teaching the Kitáb-i-Iqán in this course for the last three years. Applicants from Australia $A150 It is possible to study the course in a group. The size of the group should not exceed 5 people including the group coordinator.
