Yoga & Meditation Retreat

Weekend Program

Introduction:

Meditation is a practice with many forms and applications. Although the practice is simple, the affects are profound. At a basic level, the practice of meditation makes it possible to live a healthier life, to live a happier life, to improve the capacity to concentrate, to restore a sense of balance and reduce stress. At another level it is a process of increasing awareness, attaining a clearer knowledge of self and ultimately transforming the act of living into a spiritual act.

The practices of Yoga and Chi Gung restore balance to the body and prepares the body for meditation. By removing stiffness and knots in the body, the flow of energy is improved and this in turn leads to better health and an improved sense of well-being.
