Enhancing Relationships

coupleUnity in Diversity

How often have you experienced another person saying to you “that is not what I meant.” The same message will be heard differently depending on a person’s dynamic as we are hard wired from birth to communicate and process information differently. This weekend program on enhancing relationships will introduce easily learned tools based on Bahá’í concepts that will help you to:

  • Identify the colour of your communication dynamic

Meditation is a practice with many forms and applications. Although the practice is simple, the affects are profound. At a basic level, the practice of meditation makes it possible to live a healthier life, to live a happier life, to improve the capacity to concentrate, to restore a sense of balance and reduce stress. At another level it is a process of increasing awareness, attaining a clearer knowledge of self and ultimately transforming the act of living into a spiritual act.

Summer School

Building a New World, One Neighbourhood at a Time
30th Dec 2010 - 5th Jan 2011

In a letter written on behalf of the beloved Guardian to an individual in 1932, he states: "How wonderful it would be if all the friends could arrange to spend at least a few days in one of these summer schools and take an active part in their development. These centers could attract many souls if properly arranged and made interesting; those non-Bahá'ís who visit them will then have some time to get into the spirit of the place and make a study of the Cause...."

Yerrinbool Bahá’í  Centre of Learning is pleased to offer a unique summer school to the Australian Bahá’í  Community and assist the friends to fulfill this desire of Shoghi Effendi.

This year the theme for summer school is “Building a New World, One Neighbourhood at a Time" and the program promises to have a balance between intellectual, creative and service oriented learning. It is always the spirit of love and fellowship amongst the participants that people enjoy.
