While investing in the spiritual growth of the community

Every year hundreds of children, junior youth, youth and adults from all over Australia are trained at the Yerrinbool Bahá’í Centre of Learning (YBCL). This is a significant contribution towards building the spiritual foundation of the Australian Bahá’í Community. The buildings and facilities of YBCL Campus play an important role in this process. Yerrinbool Bahá’í School Building Fund has been created to support the continuous development of the buildings and campus.

Currently Yerrinbool Board has its focus on two major projects for improving the property; preparing for the construction of the multi-purpose hall and developing and implementing a master plan for the ground and gardens.

YBCL campus has long been in need of a multi-function hall which can be used as an assembly hall, as a space for indoor games and activities, and as an area for conducting performing and creative arts activities.

In order to beautify the grounds and develop the campus as a tranquil and uplifting environment, Yerrinbool Board has been consulting with a professional landscape architect. The plan is to establish a number of gazebos for outdoor classrooms and group activities, improve the peace garden and surrounding grounds, and create new gardens and hedges using primarily native plants Your contribution to the Building fund would enable Yerrinbool Board to effectively pursue these projects.

As the end of the current financial year is fast approaching, time is running out for you or your business to make a contribution to the Building Fund. In order to have the benefit of claiming a deduction in your tax return this financial year, you need to forward your contribution with the completed form below to the National Spiritual Assembly before 30 June. Alternatively, you can make contributions by:

  • Cheques, which should be made payable to “NSA of the Bahá’ís of Australia”.
  • Cash contributions, which can be made to your local treasurer who must be told whether it is you or your business that is making the contribution to the “Yerrinbool Bahá’í School Building Fund” and whether you require an individual receipt.

YBCL has set the goal of “delivering excellence in spiritual education” to the Australian Community. The high quality of the programmes offered at YBCL is ample evidence that such a goal is being seriously pursued. Your contribution will be assisting YBCL to develop and enhance its facilities that are crucial in the achievement of this goal.
